In the past 10 years, I’ve marketed a number of products, but none quite like CBD Oil.
It’s often boasted about on social media as a ‘miracle’ supplement as research has shown it to help with a number of medical conditions by relieving symptoms related to them and making certain medical conditions more manageable.
We’re not medical professionals for CBD products, but haven written a lot of content and done a lot of research on the product, it’s not surprising it has so much hype. But if you would like to know how it can help you, visit one of the following CBD Oil site for more information.
Research has shown that a person’s health may benefit from CBD Oil in a number of ways and relieve certain symptoms, these can include:
-
- Natural pain relief
- Anti-inflammatory
- Help with quitting smoking & drug withdrawal
CBD Oil medicinal uses
As CBD oil isn’t often a prescription medication, it is to be sold as a food supplement and isn’t allowed to be promoted for medicinal purposes. However, with all the rules in place, combatting the stigma of cannabis as an illegal drug can often leave some people a little lost on the subject.
With over ten of thousands of patients currently using this oil throughout the UK, a number of patients have reported that cannabis oil has helped them with a number of diseases, these include:
- Epilepsy / anti-seizure
- Multiple Sclerosis
- ALS
- Arthritis
- Lyme Disease
- Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
- ME and associated conditions
- Certain Cancers
- Mental Health
- Diabetes
- Acne
- Sleep disorders
- Alzheimer’s
- Parkinson’s Disease

How does CBD oil work?
Every person has an endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is responsible for keeping all of your bodily systems in balance with one another as you encounter stress throughout your daily life.
When our bodies detect a threat, they will release stress chemicals such as cortisol and adrenaline to help us stay alert, focused, and to help us protect ourselves better. The endocannabinoid system controls and regulates how quickly neurotransmitters are being released. It slows them down or speeds them up as necessary in order to return to and maintain internal homeostasis after you’ve handled a threat.

Our endocannabinoid systems promote homeostasis affecting everything from sleep, appetite, pain, inflammation, memory, mood, and even reproduction. To sum up, the ECS helps modulate the regulation of homeostasis across all major body systems ensuring that all systems work in sync with one another.
How does CBD affect the Endocannabinoid System?
One thing many people don’t know is that our bodies naturally produce their own cannabinoids, these are endocannabinoids (endo meaning ‘inside’). As with any other nutrient, sometimes we can become a little deficient and need some extra help.
This is where cannabis can help, as the cannabis plant also produces cannabinoids, these are phytocannabinoids (Phyto meaning ‘plant’). These phytocannabinoids interact and aid/ restore the endocannabinoid system in our bodies.
It is hypothesized that cannabidiol also causes the enzyme that should break down anandamide to not work as efficiently as normal, leading to an increase in the concentration of anandamide in the system.
